"Thanks," Violet replied, sitting down in the chair and placing her things on her desk. Tuning out the group behind them, she asked Fenris, "So, History of Magic. We any better at this than we are at Charms?" She flashed him a teasing smile.

Edge grinned. "It would be an honor to sit with you, Fiona-hime!" he dashed back to his things, scooped them up in his left hand, and dashed back. After placing his things in an unused seat nearby, he turned to Anri and Isabela. "Greetings, Anri-hime, Isabela-hime. My name Is Edward Geraldine, but most people just call me Edge."

Much like Fionna, and most everyone else, Shion loathed this subject. She wished it was another charms class; something she could use. With a huff, she flipped her long, pale green hair over her shoulder, and meandered into the room, her boots alerting everyone of her entrance. Teal eyes scanned the room for open seats, but instead, she only found her friends in a cluster. With a soft smile, she made her way over to them. "Hello, everyone. Would you all mind if I have a seat with you?" Instead of awaiting an answer, which she knew would be a yes, she placed her things on a desk in front of Isabela. She didn't mind the girl, she even kind of liked her, but if she mouthed off to her again, Shion's prefect status may not be able to stop her.
Shion sat and turned to face her friends. She began to pet the feline. "How are you all today? I feel like I haven't seen any of you in a while!" She giggled, but then, she spotted a newcomer. She offered him a polite smile. "And I've never seen you before. I'm Shion Sonozaki."

Edge bowed formally to the green-haired girl who had just entered. "Greetings, Shion-hime! You may call me Edge. As for not seeing me..." Edge indicated at his general appearance. "I don't wear these clothes just for fun. They're very good for blending in." He smiled broadly, visible even underneath his mask.

Shion raised a brow at him, a smirk on her face. "Hime? Formal, aren't you?" She laughed a little at his statement. "Yes, I can see. But this place is so dark it's not that hard for anyone to blend in, I think." She returned her eyes to the cat, rubbing her behind her ears. "Oh, Fionna, Cake is just too cute. Mion is so jealous." She grinned at her friend. The bird in question wouldn't be with her this class; she was out hunting, doing hawk things. Better than being in this class.

Edge frowned slightly. "true, but I'm stealthier than most people. Comes with being a ninja." He puffed out his chest ever-so slightly, hoping to impress the pretty green-haired girl with the truth about his amazing skills.

"Hm?" She raised her eyes to Edge again, blinking a few times at his puffed out chest. "A ninja? Oh, interesting." She smiled at him. "Stealth is key in that area, I suppose. Care to show us some?" She wasn't asking it to make him prove anything to her, she was genuinely curious. She'd never met a ninja before, and didn't even really think that being a ninja was a real... thing. She crossed her legs and shifted in her seat to face him, awaiting his response.

Edge grinned. "Of course!" He pointed at a spare quill someone left on a table across the room. "See that quill?" In a flash, he had thrown his own quill at it, knocking both into the air, then proceeded to dash over, grab both in midair, and run back. All while humming the theme from Tetris. He sat down, handing Shion the spare quill. "Impressed?"

Shion watched all the proceedings with wide, amazed eyes. Gently, almost cautiously, she took the quill, acting as if it may break as she touched it. "Oh my..." She looked back up at him. "Impressive!! That was amazing!" She looked at the others to see their reactions. "Wasn't it?!" Her voice was excited, and she smiled brightly.

Edge laughed lightly. "Well, when you've spent 11 years practicing like I have, things like that don't tend to be that hard anymore." He took out his wand and spun it between his fingers, turning the spare quill into a deep red rose. "As a way for you to remember the name of Edge, Shion-hime."

Shion listened to him with interest, until the rose appeared. She gasped, and her cheeks flushed with red. She looked away from him, to allow her hair to hide her blush. "Ah, thank you, Edge... You've certainly made an impression." She smiled, giving the rose a soft sniff. She'd never been wooed like this before. Hell, she'd never been given a flower before. Her life was too chaotic for such things. She placed the rose on her desk, careful not to harm it.

Edge grinned, and in a total lapse of judgement, said, "of course, Rydia." He paused almost immediately after the words flew out of his mouth, and he mentally kicked himself for slipping up like that. "I apologize, I meant Shion. you just reminded me of a... friend..."

Shion looked up at him in slight surprise at the strange name. "Rydia? That's a pretty name." She smiled, her face now having returned to normal color. "An old friend with green hair? That's pretty uncommon." She giggled to herself.

Edge smiled. "Yeah, Rydia was a friend of mine before I came here. We lost touch after I came here, though..." He looked down at his feet. "I guess green hair is uncommon, but no one ever seemed to point it out to her. If I had to describe her, she would be like a combination of you and Fiona-hime."

"Oh? That's quite an interesting combination!" She nudged Fionna a little, smiling at her. "She sounds very nice. I'm sorry to hear you lost touch with her, I know how hard that is..." Shion's eyes drifted to the floor, and her mind wandered to her old friends. Before the happy mood was completely ruined, she shook her head, trying to smile. "But now we have new friends, right?"
