Shion nodded to Edge. "I am! Do you plan on going?" As she awaited his answer, she was tapped, and she looked to her dear friend, Anri. "Oh, boys just being... boys, Anri-chan. It's all settled now." She gave her friend a sideways hug, grinning. Shion loved how Anri always seemed so innocent to everything.

Isabela was hoping that she knew where this conversation was going. She glanced excitedly between Shion and Edge.

It must not have been anything big then, if it had been handled so quickly. "Okay, Shion-senpai." Anri leaned onto the girl and smiled happily. This was turning out to be a very peaceful class so far.

Edge blushed lightly. "Well, um, I was planning on going, but I don't really like going by myself, so..." He gulped. Now or never. "Shion-hime, will you go to the dance with me?"

Isabela smiled. She knew that Shion was interested in Masaomi (It was clearly written on her face whenever they quipped back and forth), but Edge was a perfectly acceptable guy. Plus, if he was going with Shion, he wouldn't ask her out, because she was trying to go with Marshall. However, it really did depend on which boy asked her first, and he personal preference. Marshall was attractive, that was sure, and he was a mischief-maker just like she was, but Edge was a bigger flirt and they had better chemistry so far. She would be, needless to say, very conflicted if Edge showed an interest with her.
~Say yes!~ She sent to Shion mentally. ~Say it!~

Hearing the question for Shion, Anri felt happy for her friend. The boy was asking Shion to the Halloween Ba--wait. This was a potentially tricky situation. She and Shion would be switched for part of the night, so if Shion said yes then Anri would essentially be stuck with the boy for a while, limiting her freedom. "Ah, Shion-senpai..."

Now that the class had calmed down once more, Violet decided it was her turn to stand up. And she did, pulling her hair back from her eyes, but still trying not to look at anyone in particular as she spoke. "M-my name is Violet Parr, Professor. I'm particularly interested in the founding of Hogwarts, especially the backgrounds and interactions of the four founders." After saying this, she quickly sat down.

"Ah!" Shion blushed a dark shade of pink at the question. She looked at her friends, as if looking for an answer from them. Isabela seemed happy, while Anri looked concerned. Shion wasn't sure what to make of this... Her mind flashed to Masaomi, and her blush grew darker. Her eyes returned to Edge. Masaomi's a flirt. A big flirt. He'd date any girl. Not like I'm special... A pang of frustration went off inside of her, but she forced a smile, nodding at Edge. "Yes. I'll go with you."
She knew that it may be a mistake, and she felt slightly bad, for her mind was still on Masaomi. However, she didn't know Edge very well, and wasn't too sure how he would treat her. She decided it was a risk she was willing to take.
She looked to Anri, and remembered their plan... "Anri-chan, do you mind?"

Well, perhaps this could lend to the ulterior motive of the plan. Being around Edge for a couple hours would mean just one more person to befuddle, then. Giving a nod, Anri whispered, "It's fine."

Isabela clapped her hands together. She was happy for herself, of course, because this meant she didn't have to possibly make the choice between Edge and Marshall, but it also meant that Shion had a date, which was good.
However, she had noticed the strange interaction between Anri and Shion. What was that about? She vowed to ask them, once Edge wasn't around.

Edge looked down. "Well, if you don't want to-" He paused. Did she say yes? He was pretty sure she said yes. "Y-you accepted?" Internally, he was jumping for joy. He smiled. "Well, that's fantastic!" He turned his attention to the rose he gave her earlier. He spun his wand, and the rose suddenly bloomed into a large colorful bouquet. He handed the green-haired girl his newest creation. "I'm honored to be able to spend an evening with you, Shion-hime."

She watched Edge's first reaction with confusion. "But I..." She nodded to him. "Yes, I accepted." Shion flashed a smile to Anri, acknowledging her answer, but the bouquet quickly caught her attention, and she took it graciously. "Thank you, Edge-san.." Her blush returned, and she sniffed the flowers, smiling softly. Masaomi-kun will find someone.

Edge smiled as he watched Shion accept the bouquet. He was thankful that she had accepted. The last person he ever asked to anything was..."Rydia..." He murmured under his breath. He shook his head to chase away any stray thoughts as he turned to Shion. "So, Shion-hime, I heard that you knew someone from Gryffindor by the name of Masaomi Kida." Edge had heard rumors about the younger Gryffindor's flirtatious nature. In some cases, he was almost reminded of a younger version of himself, albeit less handsome and stealthy.

Shion's breath caught in her throat, and she practically shoved her face into the bouquet. "Ah, yes, I know him. He's a friend of mine." She calmed herself and grinned up at Edge. "Why do you ask?"

Edge frowned slightly. "I've heard some stories about him. They tend not to be very pleasant. I know it probably isn't my place, but he is a fellow Gryffindor, and we do look out for each other." He scratched the back of his head. "What I'm trying to say is that I'm a little worried for him. I used to be like him when I was his age, and needless to say, I lost a lot of good friends that way." 'including Rydia,' he thought to himself.
