"Oh? Well, he is a flirt... But really, he's very kind and thoughtful. I'm a Slytherin, and yet most of my friends are Gryffindors. He must be one of the nicest I've met. He was actually the first to be kind to me, I think... Since it's generally believed that Slytherins are horrid monsters, I was very happy." She smiled to herself, remembering the first time she ever met the blonde haired boy.

Edge shrugged. "I never thought Slytherins were horrid. I honestly hate the stereotypes that all the Houses get. Slytherins being jerks, Ravenclaws being stuck-up, Gryffindors being vain hero-types, Hufflepuffs being... well, I don't know about them, but I'm sure my point has been made." He pulled out a sheet of paper and began to doodle on it absentmindedly. "Anyways, it seems relatively obvious that you care for Kida." He smiled. "Just make sure he doesn't do anything TOO drastic or ridiculous. I don't want to see my own history repeat itself in him."

Shion ran a hand through her hair, nodding to his statement. "I'll be sure to do that. But we don't see each other very often."

Edge shrugged as he continued his (admittedly horrible) sketch. "Fair enough." He finished his drawing and showed it to Shion. "What do you think?" It depicted a rather crude likeness of himself doing what appeared to be some sort of dance, possibly. Or a seizure. It was hard to tell.

Her eyes scanned the page, and she smiled, giggling a little. Shion was never a very good artist herself, so she could sympathize. "It's cool. Very nice." She leaned back in her seat, getting comfortable once more. Realizing she was still holding the flowers, she blushed, and laid them on her desk.

Edge grinned. "You think so?" He placed the drawing away inside his bag, but in doing so felt something prick him. He reached in a bit deeper and found, for some odd reason, a broken CD. His eyes widened in horror. "no, no, no, no, no..." He muttered under his breath, each word becoming louder and more frantic sounding. "No, no, no, no NO, NO, NO..." At the very bottom of his bag lay a crushed CD case. Entire albums, gone. In an over-the-top dramatic fashion, he fell to his knees. "WHYYYYYYY?" He cried, not caring who looked. (Well, not caring any more than usual.)

Shion watched with concern as Edge grew increasingly frantic. "What's the matter?!" She grabbed her wand, even though she didn't know a spell that could help him. She didn't even know what was wrong. She suddenly felt embarrassed for him, and looked at Anri, her brows furrowed.

Stunned by the sudden change in Edge's character, Anri blinked once, blinked again, and stuttered out, "Did you lose something? Has something been damaged?" What in the world could be in the bag--or not in it--that would incite such a reaction? Looking up from the panicking boy, she noticed Shion's facial expression. The older girl's wand was out, ready to help. Speaking again, though much more calmly this time, she offered, "If it's... something you forgot you could try a summoning charm, but if something is... damaged you could use Repairo..." In her mind, she tried to think of other possible reasons for panic.

Edge stood up, tears forming in the corners of his eyes. "Eleven years worth of music... Gone..." He looked at Shion and Anri. "I would fix them, but all the CDs looked the same. I wouldn't be able to tell which CD fragment would go with which..." HE looked downwards. "Those were all gifts I got for my birthday..."

Fenris looked at the boy, and gave a small snicker before Edge talked about the fact that there were eleven years of music on there. Fenris looked over, and thought.
"In theory, the data is still on the disks. It's just broken. If you got someone that could read the furrows in it... You could at least know what songs are on the CDs, and get them back on another CD."

"Oh..." She felt bad for Edge, losing something close to him. "Maybe the spell could still work.. Every piece has a different break that only fits with the piece it was broken from, and so the CDs would fix themselves properly... Right?" Her eyes remained on Anri. As a sixth year, Shion knew it was true, but she felt that if she asked Anri, someone she trusted who was probably better at this sort of thing, it would confirm the fact.

"Un... that's right. You don't need to know which pieces go where. You just have to have all of the pieces." She was basically quoting the textbook, but that really was the easiest way to explain it. "You don't even need to know what you're fixing." Taking out her wand, Anri levitated all of the CD bits onto the desk for easier access.

"R-really?" Edge completely forgot about Reparo. He was ready to accept the fact that he had lost several years worth of gifts, and Anri practically saved him from a spiraling depression. He began to weep openly, albeit more in a comical way than actually feeling sad. He gave Anri and Shion a big hug, overjoyed. "You two are the best people I've ever met!" He cried (as in shouted.)

"Ah-!!" Shion cried out as she was suddenly embraced alongside Anri. "Oh, uh..." She laughed nervously, giving Edge a small hug in return. "It's no big deal, really. Anri knows a lot more about this sort of thing than I do."

Flushing, Anri awkwardly hugged Edge back. "Y-you're welcome..." She glanced at Shion. "Maybe Shion-senpai should perform the spell now?" The CDs still had yet to be repaired, though the dramatic cries of appreciation implied otherwise.
