Shion caught the frog gently from the air, hoping no one saw it. She glanced over at the teacher as she opened the paper, eager to see what was inside.

Inside the slip of paper, Edge had drawn himself sitting in a corner appearing sad, complete with lines and little depression soul-thingies. He had written underneath it "I don't like seeing you upset. It makes me sad." He hoped that Shion knew he was just trying to get her to laugh a little.

Shion did smile, but she whispered a sad little "Awww..." Pink dusted her cheeks as she began her response. She folded it the only way she knew how, and, with a cautious glance at the teacher, flicked it to Edge.

Edge saw the small paper box this time and caught it in midair. He placed it in front of him, hoping no one saw, and began to unwrap the newest message he'd recieved.

The picture inside was of Shion grinning, her chin resting atop Edge's head. Beside the drawing read, "But I'm not. Just bored. I'm no good at history."

Edge 'ahhed' silentlly. He pulled another piece of paper and scribbled on it. Once done with his new note, he folded it up into the shape of a horse and sent it galloping towards Shion. (OOC: Holy crap, you attained godhood. )

(( XD Omai. ))
Shion giggled a bit at the new note, watching it for a moment in awe. She hated unraveling the cute little creatures, but she liked seeing the little notes. She opened this one up with some excitement.

Inside the note, Edge drew himself with a graduation cap, a textbook under his arm, and a yardstick. Underneath he wrote, "If you need help, I'm practically a history pro!" He was being serious about that much, too. HE LOVED history, for some bizarre reason. Always had.

Shion pursed her lips. She leaned over her desk, concentrating hard on her newest response. She wasn't too sure what to say to that, or how to ask for help without seeming.. desperate. But she continued, and folded the note and passed it to her friend.

Edge grabbed the small piece of paper. He curiously opened it, wondering what Shion had sent him this time.

Inside was a picture of chibi Shion, laying dead on the ground with a frustration tornado swirling above her head. "Please help me?" was written beside the picture.

Edge scanned the piece of paper, then pulled out a new sheet and began to scribble on it furiously. When finished, he gently folded the paper into an elephant and sent it on it's merry little way to Shion.

Shion plucked the elephant from her desk, and nuzzled its little trunk with a giggle, before opening it.

Inside Edge had drawn himself placing what looked like a feather on the now-conscious Shion. Underneath, he had written, "Of course! I'd be happy to help!"
(OOC: Just as a little note, the feather thing is a reference to the Final Fantasy series, specifically the Phoenix Down which revives a KO'd ally.)

Shion smiled to him, and mouthed a 'thank you'. Using the same paper, she simply wrote, "When and where?" and sent it his way. This was the first day of class, so she wouldn't know if she would be any good in this class until after maybe a week or two. Still, she didn't want to take any chances on failing.
