fai smiled a little "you're free to come..." he felt a little rude for just flying off solo, at least the freedom of flight would at least excuse him from talking, but not necessarilly exclude them from the experiance.

Fenris stood next to Celty, awkwardly. Yayoi and Fai could fly all they wanted, but he was certainly no flyer.
He stared down at the ground in defeat.

Fai looked a little bemused by Yayoi's confession....it wasn't like taking horse riding lessons, or even broom lessons. The games keeper would have tamed them, enough so that they pulled the carriages to and from the castle several times a year (whenever students needed to catch the train during holidays, or even for Hogsmeade trips). In truth, Fai had never ridden one either, but he never had need to before. He had always been alone down here when visiting.
"You dont need to do anything...They're tame enough that they won't throw you, and smart enough to do all the work." he kept making a fuss of his stead, smiling a little "Aren't you, Shadow-pony! You're a smart boy, you'll keep me safe!" he sounded a little more like his usual self, as if having an animal companion was soothing to him. Slightly. Glancing back to Yayoi he gave a one shouldered shrug "They know the way to Hogsmeade and back without a handler....i'm sure they'll return to here, no problems." He wouldn't mind too much if they didn't bring him back...if he could keep on flying, leaving all his worries behind.

Celty's neck released a huge puff of embarassed smoke....which looked the same as all the rest of her smoke. Only someone who has known her for a long time would be able to discern what her moods are. "Oh."

Yayoi continued to murmur to a nearby thestral. It allowed her to come closer, but Yayoi still proceeded cautiously. She still didn't know a lot about them....
