The girl was definitely someone she had never met before.
Nodding, Anri smiled, "Anri Sonohara. Nice to meet you."

Marshall groaned. "Tell me about it!" Pranks weren't funny if there wasn't anyone around to enjoy them! And every so often, there was some wallflower that would complain to the staff, or, if they were a prefect, just take an obscene amount of points away. For completely harmless things too! I mean... Strangling pixies isn't that bad! Not twenty points bad!
Maybe that's why he liked to hang out with Barnaby so much; he could annoy the prefect to every extent, and he wouldn't be able to take any points away! Genius. But maybe he wouldn't fall asleep... He had already lost ten points that day, his housemates wouldn't like it if he lost anymore. Some of them actually cared about the whole point system whatever. Unbelievable.

She had guessed right, the girl was speaking to her. Unconsciously taking the hair out from behind her ear again and messing with it with her hands, she replied, "Violet Parr. Nice to meet you too." Violet looked down at her feet, which was a little disconcerting as her feet weren't really standing on anything.

Shion grinned and laughed. "I must seem like a hypocrite. But, you know..." she floated around him, keeping her eyes on his face, "nobody suspects a prefect..." She then floated up much higher than him with a grin. "I'm only kidding, don't flip like you did the other day." She really did try to tone down the creepy this time; wouldn't want word getting back to Gumball, and risk him thinking she's creepy...

"Violet is a nice name." Anri told the girl, "Are you a fourth year?" She probably wasn't a fifth year, since Anri hadn't noticed her before. However, she didn't seem old enough to be a sixth or seventh.

She looked up at Anri through her hair, eyes wide. "Um, thanks. Yeah, I'm a fourth year. And you're a fifth year, right?" Violet took a second to glance around, noticing that they were the only two who seemed to have found the star. The rest of the class was farther away.

"Ah, I'm a fifth year." Leaning forward, Anri floated closer to Violet. "Do you play Quidditch?" she really needed to learn about conversation. Meeting someone who was even more introverted than she was was an enlightening experience.

She looked down again as Anri floated closer. "Um, n-no," she replied to her question. Violet looked up, smiling. "But, I do like flying. Do, do you play Quidditch?" This was probably the longest conversation she had had with another student since the beginning of the year.

Rosalina was floating in space, waiting patiently for a student to touch the star. No one had touched it yet, but she saw two of her students near it. Actually, she hadn’t seen the one with the long black hair before, but she assumed that she was in her class. The students must just be taking in the sights; she thought to herself. it sure is pretty out here, besides being fake and largely disproportional, it is still a marvel to behold… she closed her eyes and tilted her head up, smiling. Maybe she could go for a fly around the Crtstal ball… She gracefully took off, her blue dress flowing behind her, making her almost look like a comet. She twirled around a bit and flew around the crystal ball, loving every moment of her freedom in “space".

The girl was even more nervous than Anri herself had been upon first entering the school. "I do. I'm hoping to be a beater for Ravenclaw this year." Her reasons for being a beater were more than just a combination of loving flying and enjoying Quidditch. There was just something about hitting the balls with a bat in the direction of the opposing team that put Saika in a non-murderous mood (which basically meant nonfatal sadism).

Violet's eyes widened again. "A Beater? Wow! But, that's a pretty violent position, isn't it?" She looked over Anri; she didn't seem like the kind of girl who could hit an aggressive ball towards other players with a large and heavy bat. But, she had learned that looks can be deceiving.

"Eh...I wouldn't say it's violent. It's like being a batter in baseball," she paused and wondered if Violet knew what that was, "but you aim for the opposing team instead of away from them. It's very relaxing." It really did put her mind at rest, and it was good exercise.
"Perhaps we could go out to the Quidditch fields together sometime and fly?"

Baseball...baseball...that was some weird sport she had seen kids at her muggle school playing. You hit a ball and then run in a circle. Seemed pretty uninteresting. "Sure, I'd like that. I don't have many people I can hang out with outside classes." Feeling a bit more confident, Violet brushed her hair behind her ear again. "Do you think we should touch the star now? Professor Rosalina has been waiting a while." She thought for a moment. "If we both touch it at the same time, we can both get credit. We did find it at the same time after all."

"Ah, yes, the star. We should." she had wanted to try something, but they would probably have a chance to come back at a later date. Taking one of Violet's hands in her own, she nodded at the other girl to indicate that they should both reach forward. "On the count of three, okay? One... two..."

The door to the room flew open as Fionna tumbled through, Cake traveling closely behind her. "I'm so sorry I'm la-!" She fell silent as she realized the room was empty. "Aw, maybe I'm way too late." She sighed, clapping a hand to her forehead. As she mumbled reprimands to herself, Cake leapt off of her shoulder and dashed at the portal, meowing. Fionna looked at her cat in confusion. "What're you- Ah, Cake!" She gasped in horror as her beloved feline vanished into the portal. Fionna dashed after her, but hesitated at the portal's entrance. "A portal, huh?" She thought for a moment, before a grin broke onto her face. "Awesome!" Enthusiastically, she leapt inside, only to find her class. Oh, maybe the teacher won't notice me... Am I floating?! She flailed a bit, slightly panicked at first. "Woah, woah!!"
