Mac watched Jim and Fenris fly through the air on their brooms, the Bludgers chasing after them. Plans cycled through his mind; but as he imagined their outcomes, none of them seemed to be up to the challenge of actually working. Then, he got it! Dumping out everything that was in his pack, wincing slightly as some of his books fell into the loose dirt and mud, he held it open in front of him. "Jim! Fenris!" he shouted above the noise of the bludgers, hoping they could hear him. "I have a plan! If you can keep the balls chasing after you, fly past me and I'll try to catch them in my pack. That should hold them until we get them back in storage!" He certainly hoped so.

Fenris heard, and glanced down at Mac. The kid was so small. What if the bludgers just dragged him along with them? Or if he missed, and the bludger hit arm instead of pack? His plan was the only one however, and so Fenris zoomed down, passing him closely. IT was up to Mac to catch the rogue bludger.

If there was one thing Mac was good at besides running, it was catching. After all, his brother gave him plenty of practice, running around the house trying to catch the things Terrence wanted to break and blame on Mac. As Fenris zoomed towards him, Mac knew he had one shot for this. Jim might be a natural flyer, but it was clear that Fenris was not. If he didn't catch it, Fenris might not be able to come back around again.
He braced his feet, ready to spring forward once Fenris passed. A blast of air from the passing broom, and he closed the tiny distance, putting himself and the pack between the Bludger and Fenris. It didn't have time to react, and it flew right into Mac's pack, dragging him back a few feet until he could brace himself again. Zipping up that section, he opened the other and got ready for Jim. This would be even trickier, as the Bludger inside was moving around constantly, shifting his aim every few seconds.

Fenris made a move to land beside Mac, but then that tiny golden ball caught his eye again. ~Gotta get this one too.~ He thought as he began to chase it, up and up. Fenris couldn't tell, because he was following the smaller target as if in a trance, but his flying smoothed out and he was almost as good as Jim.

Jim hadn’t heard mac, but he did happen to see what Fenris had done and that Mac had opened up another section of his backpack. He knew what he had to do. He sharply curved down and swooped beside Mac, with the Bludger behind him the whole time. He noticed that Fenris wasn’t landing, but what else was there to catch. Jim flew in beside Fenris (which wasn’t too hard to do considering that Fenris wasn’t as natural as he was) and yelled out against the wind: “What are you doing?"

Fenris pointed to the small, golden ball. "It came out of the same box!" He shouted. "We need to get that one too!" And he zoomed off, a little more confidant the longer he was in the air.

Well, might as well help him corner it… it should have a recognizable pattern of flight… Jim turned sharply right and turned around to watch the pattern of the golden ball, which was now visible to him and wasn’t leaving his sights.

Fenris watched Jim carefully. Wasn't he auditioning for the Gryffindor Quidditch team? Fenris suddenly had a urge to beat him. He zoomed off, a little faster.

Jim was starting to catch on to the Snitch’s pattern, but decided to wait it off for just a little while to make sure he was right. He saw Fenris slowly speeding up and decided that the best time to go and catch it… would… be… now. He shot towards the Snitch like a lightning bolt, heading straight on, knowing good and well that it would be turning a sharp left very soon. He was readying himself to barrel roll towards the left so that he would maintain his speed through the turn.

Jim came flying towards him next, giving him no time to wonder what Fenris was doing. Mac steadied himself, and as the Bludger came at him, he repeated his actions from before, closing the pack up once it had entered. But it had been going so fast, and his timing was a little off, so it barreled into his stomach from within the pack, sending him crashing to the ground. Holding on tight to the pack, he tried to catch his breath while lying there, staring up at the sky. From here, he watched as Jim and Fenris started chasing something, their eyes staring at something's erratic movements that apparently Mac could not see. What were they doing anyway? They had caught all the loose Bludgers already!

Fenris barreled toward the small, golden ball, unaware of its soon shift, as it shifted, Fenris attempted to course correct, which sent him flying into Jim.

Jim had tried to predict the Snitch’s path, but he didn’t take into the consideration of Fenris changing his course of flight at the last second, which sent him reeling into a nearby window… The one that led to Ms. Fiona Fluttershy’s class…

Mac watched Fenris and Jim head straight for each other. Were they seriously fighting up there? Had they done something to get the other angry while Mac had been busy with the Bludgers? Still struggling with the balls in his pack, Mac sat up and watched as Jim veered off, sending him crashing through a classroom window. Well, that can't be good. "Hey! Fenris! What's going on up there?" He yelled out, trying to get the older's attention.

Fenris zoomed forward and caught the small thing, and then angled toward Mac. He landed skidding, then turned toward him. "We weren't fighting, I'm just a bad flyer." He opened him palm except for one finger, which pinned the ball to his hand. "We were after this. It escaped too."

Amitola zoomed out onto to the Quidditch field on her precious Firebolt. She was doing all kinds of flips, circles, and fancy moves, until she heard a loud noise coming from one of the glass windows. Landing with a skid, she ran over to the boys on the field.
"Hey! What's going on?"
It didn't take her long, however, to answer her own question. Mac's pack was moving all around - and Fenris had the...Wait, did he really?
"What are you holding?" She grabbed a hold of the boy's hand, pulling it to her. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!"
