Fenris blinked at her. "What's wrong Ami?" Then he paused. "We could have used you minutes ago, you know. This escaped, and so did the bludgers that Mac's got in his bag." Smugly, he added. "I caught this AND a bludger."

Mac looked at the strange golden ball with wings sitting in Fenris' hand. He had seen it in the book from earlier, but he hadn't had time to study it and now the book was laying in the mud. He looked up as a Gryffindor girl walked over; she seemed to know Fenris, and Mac was pretty sure she was the one from the Hospital Wing. When she looked at the golden ball she started freaking out. "What is it?" he asked, also looking at Fenris' hand. Still struggling with his pack, Mac looked up at Fenris with a mock-glare. "Hey, if I remember correctly I was the one who caught the blugders! You just flew around in the air while it chased you!"

Amitola snatched the golden snitch from Fenris' open hand. She looked around for the Quidditch box. "This. Is a golden snitch. Your team wins the game if your seeker catches this." As she spoke, a golden ray of sunlight landed on the small winged ball, causing it to sparkle radiantly. Meanwhile, the bludgers were still rattling around in Mac's bag. "Where did you put the box?"

Fenris pointed to where it sat, missing a lid, towards the side of the Quidditch feild. "But, if we put the lid back, we'll have to use one of Mac's notebooks to bandage Coco's wing." Fenris would feel awful. Honestly, his new friend-of-sorts had looked so dejected when he'd taken out the notebook as an offering. It probably had special notes, or pictures, or was maybe even a diary of sorts. As an offerring of happiness to future sadness, Fenris stated, "And Mac did catch the bludgers. They did just chase me, and this other kid..." Fenris paused, looking around. "Where'd he go..." He saw the broken window and burst out laughing.

Mac laughed pointing up at the window. "Jim went flying into that window when you almost hit him. If I'm not mistaken, that's Professor Fluttershy's room. Isn't she having class right now?" He stooped down, still with a tight grip on his pack, and picked up the mud-stained notebook. "Anyway, I don't think it matters now. The pictures were saved, but the cardboard part got covered in mud. I'll just unbind it and wipe it clean of mud, and then we can use it for Coco. I really don't want to hold onto these much longer," he added as the Bludgers gave a particularly violent yank and he stumbled back a foot.

Amitola grinned, throwing her hands in the air. What happened next was definitely questionable. The snitch may have slipped out of her hands...or she may have let it go for fun. "Haha, oops!" With that, she mounted her broom and sped off towards the site of the crash.

Fenris gasped. "Really?! That's how you... UGH!" He growled and grabbed his broom, chasing the snitch in the opposite direction. Grumbling under his breath as he went, "Women. Can't live with them, can you Fenris?"

Mimiko walked out onto the field. As a fan of Doyle Blackwell (and a great many other players) she'd always had a soft spot for Quidditch. She had wanted to see if any of the good players were practicing, or maybe even Professor Blackwell himself, holding a class or something. Instead she found one student chasing what seemed from this distance to be the golden snitch, escaped, and another struggling against his own backpack, which could only mean one thing: Bludgers. "Accio backpack!" She whispered, calling the student's bag over to her, closed. She could feel the strain of the bludgers against the fabric: It wouldn't last much longer with them at this size. "Evanesco!" She whispered, pointing her wand into the bag. The Bludgers disappeared. "Aha!" She smiled at her smarts. {{Occ: I hope what I did to Mac's backpack isn't god-modding. }}

Mac was startled when his bag was suddenly wrenched from his grasp, and he followed its path over to a professor. She pointed her wand at it and the struggling Bludgers inside stopped. Not quite sure what she had done, he approached her, whistling at the same time to call Coco back from wherever she had disappeared to. "Um, sorry, Professor," he said when he got to her, unsure if they were in some kind of trouble. Whether I'm in trouble, Mac thought, slightly annoyed, as he realized he was the only one left on the field. Fenris had gone chasing after the snitch somewhere. "The balls somehow got out, and we were just trying to catch them."

Mimiko laughed. "Was it him?" She pointed to Fenris. He wasn't the best flyer. Maybe he'd let them out, whether to practice or be accident.

Mac looked where the professor was pointing and saw that Fenris had come back, still apparently chasing the snitch. Not that Mac could see it. "Well...yes. But he didn't mean to; he didn't know what the box he took the lid from held."

Fenris flew around the feild, reaching for the snitch. The thing was incredibly fast. He reached out to it, only to have it zip away again. Giving a low growl, he continued his race with it.

"Ah. Apparently that's actually really common." She watched Fenris fly. He'd honestly make a great Seeker, if a little raw with his flying. She wondered if Doyle knew of him yet. Fenris seemed to have a great eye for following the snitch, but not necessarily keeping pace with it.
