Shion's smile fell, and she lightly placed her hands over his. "I know, Edge, I trust you." She smiled once more. The bracelet he had spoke of was on her wrist, having not been removed since he put it on her. She had no intentions of removing it. "But if you had to go through he'l, don't worry, you'd probably find me there anyway..." Her hand slipped away, and she looked away from him.

Kurogane slipped into the room of requirement, he was smartish. He always tried to make an effort He had a shirt on but wore a jumper over the top. He glanced around seeing Edge and Shion already here, he looked for Fai noticing him in the corner already drinking.
Moving further inside to join the blonde.

Fai had said hello to the others with a smile; his face however lit up when Kuorgane appeared. The Hufflepuff looked smart, and Fai blushed a little. He himself had gone for casual-smart; in a nice shirt (though the top buttons were undone) and some smartish trousers. He'd forgone the tie, he had enough of them with the uniform. He offered Kurogane a bottle even as he teased "You scrub up pretty well, Kurotan!" He would not swoon like a girl - he did have some manly pride (a little anyway).

Kuro blushed when Fai commented on how he was dressed, turning away to see if there was any drink close at hand.
"No.. i dont," he mummbled seeing a bottle of something close by. He took one of the bottles up and opened it before taking a large sip.

Fai chuckled softly; Kuro was cute when he was flustered. He even missed the bottle Fai had held out for him. Fai shrugged a shoulder and he sipped the drink instead, still smiling. "I think you do, big badger" he teased some more, before swiftly changing the subject before said badger got grumpy and left. "So....have you thought of any resolutions for the new year?" he hadn't come up with anything himself yet....there was a lot about himself that he wanted to change, but so far he was unwilling to take action. Hiding was easier; pretenses and masks kept him safe.

Edge grabbed Shion's hand, his expression one of concern. "Why would you be in hell? You're one of the kindest, most likeable people I know. Besides, even if you were there, I'd fight like a demon to get you out of there. You're someone I care about, and I'd protect you with my life." He wrapped his arms around her. "I swear."

Shion blushed a bit, but returned his embrace. He was so kind, and so protective. And what was she? A liar. Deceitful. A murderer. Tears welled in her eyes, but she quickly blinked them away. "I just... I would... Thank you..."

Edge smiled softly. "Anytime, Shion." He took her hand and kissed it lightly, looking up at the green-haired girl. Since he'd met her, she had reminded him so much of Rydia, but not until now had he realized: she was better. she'd actually heard him out during his hard times, having to deal with his broken heart and all of his old friends leaving . "...I don't think I've said this to you before, but thank you."

Shion glanced away as more tears came. "Y-You're welcome, Edge..." She wiped at her eyes lightly, and realized she was blushing. He was so good to her, it broke her heart. But this wasn't the time or place to cry and self-hate, so she offered him a happy smile.

Edge looked at Shion curiously. "Hey, what's wrong? Was it something I said? Because if so, I apologize." He lightly wiped a tear away from her cheek, his eyes filled with worry. This was possibly the closest friend he'd had since all his other friends graduated last year, and seeing her like this was like a stab to the heart for him.

She shook her head, before taking his hands. "I'm fine, you're just so sweet." She dabbed at her eyes with a soft sniffle. That's when she caught a glimpse of her watch. "Ah, it's getting closer..." She smiled up at him, and slowly released his hands.

Edge stole a glance at Shion's watch. "Huh. So it is." He grinned. "Sayonara, 2011! It's time to ring in the New Year!" He laughed and looked at Shion, a single hand extended out to her. "Come on, one quick dance before the year ends. All I ask." He smiled sheepishly.

((I... I don't know how to dance, so I'm not sure how to make this work... OTL
Oh! And I heard this super awesome song whose name I can't remember! All I can remember is it's the Sengoku Basara 3 theme...))

"Yeah, especially..." Shion smiled and looked back up into his eyes. She knew from dancing with Gumball how to dance eloquently, but not much else.
