Shion laughed into his chest. "And you were a pretty lady." She brushed some hair from her eyes and looked back up at him. The bracelet slid down her arm a little, catching her attention. "Well, this certainly means a lot more to me now." she giggled, "Not that it didn't already mean the world to me.."

Edge put on his best sassy look. "I was more then pretty. I was FAB-U-LOUS!" He chuckled before he noticed Shion's bracelet. "It means a lot to me, too." He smiled at her. "It means I get to spend even more time with the girl I love." He kissed her forehead lightly, his mind drifting away to all the places they could go. Where first, Hawaii or the Mediterranean?

Shion flashed him a grin. Standing on her tiptoes -had he always been this much taller than her?- she placed a gentle kiss on his nose. "Traveling the world, too. But, ah, maybe we should skip Japan." She giggled, but was completely serious.

Edge nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I'd rather not go there. I've practically traveled the whole country with my gramps and his crazy ninja buddies." He paused. "How about the Caribbean? The beach is always nice."

Edge chuckled sheepishly. "I haven't felt like this in... Well, ever. You're prettymuch the first girl who's said yes to me." Of course, it was only between Shion and Rydia, but Edge wouldn't say that. Out loud, anyways.

"Why? It's okay for me to think about it now.." Shion held onto him for comfort, though. It was good for her, but hard. "I'm not the same person I was back then... At least, I hope not." The disease was surely gone by now, right? She nodded to herself. "Yeah..."

"Hm?" Shion didn't have to think long, "Well, at first, you kind of annoyed me." She blushed with a sheepish grin. "I thought you were just a shameless flirt. But... when I got to know you... I learned you were actually very sweet. Sensitive, warm..." she nuzzled his chin gently, "And talented. Your ninja skills are amazing. Not to mention that you're protective. I feel safe with you... I always have."

Edge's face fell slightly when he heard that Shion found him annoying. It perked up, however, as she went on. "Well, to be honest, I kinda hated being all flirty. It felt weird for me. Once I met you, though, I didn't have to be the crazy flirty ninja. I could just be comfortable as myself, y'know?" He laughed lightly. "I probably sound like an idiot."
