Noticing that the girl didn't seem to want help, Fai shrugged and retracted his hand, instead he patted his pocket to double check that the wand was still there and safe. The snappyness of her replies didn't phase the blonde, and he simply continued smiling although to the trained eye it might seem more tense or worried than usual. "I could ask you the same question," he countered evasively, grinning a little. He was about to give a more sensible reply about having decided upon taking a stroll in the woods to clear his mind, when another howl came, from much closer this time, making him jump and cast his gaze about anxiously.
Now his smile dropped a little, and he looked to the girl "....Perhaps this isn't a good time to discuss things...Come on, let's get back to the castle!"

Rita glanced around observing there surroundings and making sure that whatever it was that was out there wasn't directly near or around them. Relaxing a little she turned back to the Ravenclaw, the look on her face contemplating the other student's suggestion. This guy probably knew the way out. She should just agree to going back. Shion could take care of herself. Plus there wasn't a single connection she shared with the other girl, other than the both of them being Slytherin. ".........."

As Shion scaled the tree, she could see much farther out than had she been on the ground. From near the top, she could see the castle and lake, but other than that, the view was all trees. From here, she made her way through the branches, in the opposite direction of the howling.
However, while on this little journey, she heard an oddly familiar voice. Rita? She attempted to climb down the tree to get a better look, but unfortunately, her foot caught a weak branch. With a loud snap!, Shion came tumbling down from the tall canopy, only to land on her side on the hard, cold ground.

Another snap from above had Fai starting a little, but he had no time to think as something fell down on them. The blonde swore, whipping his wand out once more and pointing it at the creature, but before he could once again utter a spell for a protective sheild he noticed that again, this didn;t look like a creature. It was another girl.
Worried, as that had to have hurt, Fai hurried forward to carefully kneal next to the green haired female. "Hey....hey, are you ok???" He was hoping that the fall hadn't broken the girls spine or neck....assuming the girl was alive in the first place and hadn't been dropped whichever bloodthirsty creature was prowling the forrest.

By reflex, Rita spun around with her wand at the ready, only to spot a familiar looking green haired student lying on the ground. "S-shion!" she called out surprised, as Fai ran up to her. She remained rooted where she was, lowering her wand to the side as she observed from over his shoulder.

Shion screamed in agony as she rolled onto her back, clutching her shoulder. “My arm, damnit!! I think it’s broken!!” She surged and writhed on the ground for a few moments, before she realized the two looking at her. With another cry of agony, she reached for the wand in her robe. “Sorry guys…” she winced and grunted, “but I can’t get into trouble because of you two, now, can I?” With an evil smirk, and another cry of pain, she sat up, aiming her wand at them. “Obliviate!!” she cried, sending a spell at them that will erase their memories of this night, or at least, of seeing her. She then quickly-or as quick as she could-rose to her feet, and then ran into what she hoped was the direction of the castle.

Fai looked very worried when the girl started screaming, he was ready to try a painkilling charm when he found himself facing the business end of the girls wand....he started to protest, but in a flash of light, the thought was gone. He blinked vision fuzzy for a minute....when it cleared, the blonde looked dazed and confused.
He looked around, confused....he was in the forest....and there was a girl with him. Who she was, he didn't know....nor did he understand how he'd gotten there...or when....

Shion really wasn't concerned for the two she had left behind. She didn't erase enough of their memory that they could not get out of the forest, she only removed as much as she thought she needed to; the stuff with her in it.
Though her left arm may not be in good condition, her legs worked fine, carrying her as far away from the other two as fast as they could. Unfortunately for her, she had gotten horribly lost. "Damn!!" she shouted. She couldn't hear anyone else, so she knew she was far enough away from the larger group of people that, should she get hurt, no one would know. She began to shake with fear, unsure of what she should do. She didn't want to be caught, but she needed to escape, and find help for her arm. "Help!!!" she screamed in a panic.

Fenris had watched all of Shion's actions, and even though he was slightly afraid of having his own memory erased, he wasn't about to leave a fellow student in the Forbidden Forest by herself, especially if she was injured. He'd harbored a feeling earlier that something bad was going to happen. "Shion...?" He approached her slowly, like he was moving toward a dangerous animal. "Can I help?"

Startled by the sudden calling of her name, Shion turned, eyes wide and frantic, aiming her wand directly at Fenris. "Obliv-!!" she gasped and dropped her wand, "Oh, Fenris!" she whimpered, dropping to her knees. "I... How much did you see...?"

"I saw it all." He took a step closer. "But that doesn't matter. What matters is that you're injured. I can help." He took another step. "Can I help?"

Shion stepped away from him, not because she was frightened of him, but what she might do. "I... I can't get into trouble, Fenris! I can't get sent away again!" she cried in desperation, holding her wand up towards him again with her good arm.

"I'll make sure you don't get sent away. I won't tell. I promise. But you need help. And I'll be damned if I leave a friend in trouble. Please, let me help." He stepped a bit closer, slowly.

Shion was still hesitant, but the pain in her arm was so fierce she was close to tears. As the warm liquid leaked from her eyes, streaking down her dusty cheeks, she smiled at him in a sort of demented way. "I'm pathetic, aren't I, Fenris?" She stood, lowering her wand, and walked towards her friend. "Please help me..."

Fenris ripped off a piece of his robe walked toward her. "I can make a sling, if you want one." He paused, noticing her tears. "You're not pathetic Shion. You're hurt. Sometimes people just need someone to take care of them. A bit of kindness, one human to another." He wiped away one of her tears in a brotherly motion.
