"No, I haven't..." She blushed from slight embarrassment; she felt as if she probably should know the spell, but she didn't. She never really thought she'd need it, but she had heard stories about it before. "It's really cool-" another howl, mere feet away from them this time. Shion turned in the direction of the noise, her wand at the ready; she could hear the sound of an approaching creature, twigs snapping and leaves rustling. Her heart was pounding, and she searched in her mind for a spell.

ooc: Fai's happy with being found ^_^ Besides, it's your own spell to control, it's not a spell that has a direct effect on a characters body, so its not like godmodding or anything))
They hadn't been travelling far when Fai saw something glowing. At first he thought it might be a will'o'the whisp, mischivious creatures well known for 'helping' lost travellers become far more lost, and usually resulting in said travellers dying because they ended up in a lake, or off a cliff....his trail of thought stopped though, because the floating light settled on a nearby tree. It wasn't a creature, so much as a "Patronus!" he called out gleefully, pointing it out to his companion. He'd read about them in DADA, though he couldn't fully summon his own yet. He hoped his was as beautiful as this one.
He waved at the patronus, trying to get its attention and grinning like an idiot. "Yoohoo!!! Nice little Birdie, we could use some help please!!"

So much for a distraction, Doyle thought as whatever creature was in the forest slowly approached them, making noise as it went. Holding his wand steady in front of him, he prepared himself for the worst. It wouldn't be good for the other two to meet up with them while a creature was attacking. "Quick, this way," he whispered, pushing Fenris and Shion into the forest away from the creature. They may not be able to make it out yet, but there was safety in numbers, so he wanted to join up with the missing students before they too were attacked. His Patronus could find him no matter where he was.
The Kite peered down at the students. It opened its mouth, but instead of crying out some birdie sounds, Doyle's own voice echoed forth. "If I am currently talking to you, I can only assume my Patronus found you two safely. This is Professor Blackwell. I am in the forest with two other students. As it is dangerous for you to walk around by yourselves, without a professor, I want you two to immediately follow after the bird. It will lead you to wherever my location is." The Kite closed its beak and flapped its wings to hover in the air before the two students, waiting for them to indicate that they would follow.

Shion cried out in pain as the teacher accidentally bumped her bad arm, but she followed him closely, still facing the source of the noises. She stumbled as she walked backwards, tripping over rocks and limbs, but her terror kept her eyes glued ahead of her.

His heart beats fast. Really really fast.
They're coming.
Watanuki himself didn't know what was coming. He just felt it.
Suddenly he grabbed Professor Fluttershy's right arm and ran. He turned his head to Professor ,Fluttershy as he was running. "I'm sorry Professor, please excuse my rudeness. but I think we need to hurry. I think something bad is going to happen."
He knew that it's highly unlikely. Even though they're in the Forbidden Forest, they're still in Hogwarts. But still..
He ran and ran even though it was pitch dark. After a while he saw Fai and a girl he recognized in Care of Magical Creatures class as Rita Mordio. They were facing to his left. Watanuki stopped. Panting, he said "They're...something is coming..."
And there they came from his right.

It all happened so fast.
First, the flying proffesor's patronus had appeared before them. Then, Watanuki and Proffesor Fluttershy suddenly ran over to them.
And then, there they were. Rita whipped out her wand and yelled out 'Protego' as fast as she could, praying it was fast enough.

The wolves. Ravenous and evil, Shion could feel it. She was shaking, but held her wand in front of her. She knew the Avada Kedavra, something she had learned as a first year, but there was no way she would use it in front of everyone. Instead, she allowed Rita to use her spell first, so that they would not cross magic.

It had been the howling that had drawn her in. Stepping to her window to get a better listen, Anri had suddenly been assaulted by a barrage of murderous words from within her own mind. Ever since the incident with the giant squid her control had been weakening, and Saika's power increasing. Inexplicably, she felt herself fall into a daze, and when she blinked back into sense she was no longer in the dormitory.
Large, dark trees loomed above her, and she could only guess how much time had passed since Saika had taken charge. Looking down, she was half-shocked to see her body splattered in blood. At the very least, it explained why Saika had relinquished control. Another look around identified the victim. It was a large, fearsome looking beast that she could not identify due to mutilation. Anri did not want to know what Saika had done, but based on the lack of a head on the creature and the violent and gory splatter around it and on her, she had a very good idea of what had occurred.
Hearing a commotion somewhere to her left, Anri headed in the direction of the noise. Breaking out into a run, she was suddenly faced with the backs of what seemed to be even more of the creature Saika had mutilated earlier. Now that she could see their heads, she identified the creatures as wolves of some sort. They were not facing her at the moment, but she was certain that she wouldn't come out alive if the entire pack were to attack her. Whatever it was that was holding their attention had her thanks.
It was then that the people came into view. Shion, Proffesor Blackwell, Fai, and many others whom she could not identify. A girl screamed 'Protego' and Anri saw Shion raise her own wand, ready to fight. From behind the wolves, she pulled out her wand and cast a shield charm on herself as well, the situation finally beginning to sink in. A flash of panic suddenly seized her. She had to get to the rest of the people.

She waited for Rita's spell to take effect, and, knowing that the spell couldn't be held forever, decided to help. "Protego!" she cried, expelling magic of her own with Rita's. Since they were the same spell, they should not interfere with each other, right?
That's when she saw Anri. Doused in blood, standing behind the pack. Shion panicked. "Anri!!" she shouted, "Anri, get away from here!!!"

Shion's shout jogged her back to her senses, and she began to think. If she ran back there was a risk of some of the wolves noticing and giving chase, but she could not stay in one place either. Making a split-second decision, Anri dashed around the edge of the pack and lunged for Shion and the others. As she did, she felt the back of her robes being torn off by the maw of one of the wolves. Nearly crashing into Shion, Anri stopped herself and whipped around, wand pointed shakily at the slowly prowling wolves. This situation was too much! She felt tears well up in her eyes.

"Anri!!" she screamed, terrified her friend could be killed. Luckily, she wasn't, but her robes were torn to shreds. She wanted to reach out to Anri and pull her behind her, but her good hand was holding her wand. "Anri-chan, calm down!" she said, seeing that the younger girl was obviously distressed, "What happened to you?"

"I... I... she... Saika..." Anri forced out. "I--she wanted to kill it and I didn't know and then I was here and the thing was dead and..." she trailed off, forcing herself to calm down, and then started over. "I-I heard a noise and came here."

Shion glanced briefly at Anri. "Saika? What's that?" She wanted to keep asking her questions to help calm her down. But Shion was afraid as well.

"S-Saika? She... She's... She killed one of those things." Anri divulged, uncertain of whether she should reveal the entire truth. Knowing about this could destroy people's perceptions of her. Anri didn't want to lose her friends.
