"She hasn't gone anywhere." Anri whispered. It wasn't right... she couldn't. But they might die otherwise. "She's right here... but I don't know if you really want to meet her."

"What are you talking about, Anri?!" Shion snapped. She wasn't trying to be mean, it was just that Anti wasn't making much sense. "There's no one here but us!"

The wolves had them cornered. Doyle looked around, trying to think of a solution. There were two adults and five kids against a very large pack of mutated wolves. Not very good odds. A cry came from the other side of the wolves, and suddenly there were six kids! Pointing his wand at the creatures, staying behind the shield charm two of the girls cast, he shouted Stupefy! at some of the wolves. He didn't want to hurt them, this was their home after all. But if this didn't drive them away soon, his duty to protect the students meant that he would have to use stronger spells against them.

"Saika... is me. We're the same person, but she... she's dangerous. She does things with my body that I shouldn't be able to do." If Shion still didn't understand, Anri was going to lose her resolve to prioritize their potential survival over her greatest fear.

At Anri's explanation, Shion's face turned cold. "She's a demon." Shion could feel her own stirring. "Anri, control her for now. We don't need her out here."

Relieved at Shion's demand, Anri nodded and tried to think of a useful spell to use against the wolves. If Saika were to be given control willingly, Anri could not affirm that she would not attempt to slaughter everyone in the vicinity. Still, Shion seemed extremely uncomfortable herself. Anri then chose to ask, "What happened to you?"

Shion flinched at the question; Anri was bold. An evil smirk crossed Shion's lips, but her eyes remained hollow. "I'll tell you later, Anri-chan. Wouldn't want to frighten these folks any more than they already are."

Frighten? There was definitely something going on on Shion's end as well. Then fully registering the statement, Anri glanced at the rest of the group.

Seeing that Anri had calmed down, Shion returned her focus to the wolves. She needed a spell to get them out, but her mind was only drawing blanks.

Only useless spells were coming to mind, but she tried them out for lack of better options. "Tarantallegra! Fera Verto!" the first was supposed to make the opponent dance uncontrollably, and the second turned animals into water goblets. Whether or not they would work was unknown.

The Patronus had 'spoken' to them, sending a message from a professor. Fai had winced inwardly at that....they would be in trouble. But still detention was better than being lost out here. They followed the bird for a little bit, before Watanuki and a second professor found them....and then they found the second professor after they had come under attack by the same pack of wolves. Fai hid behind Ritas protection for a moment, racking his brain for spells...Where was Kuro-sama when you needed him, the sullen teen was great with offensive magic!
".....Flippendo!" he cast, though the moment the spell left his lips he knew he would have to do better; knockback jinxes were first year pranks. Still, it sent one of the wolves flying into a tree, so he coldn't complain too much...."What's wrong with them?? Wolves don't usually attcack humans..." unless it was a whole pack of werewolves, but he didn't think it was a full moon tonight. He couldn't see the sky through the thick canopy of trees to check, even if he wanted to.
The wolf he's managed to throw was back up and it didn't look happy as it started back towards them. Still trying to think of curses, Fai had one on the tip of his tongue. It began with I.....incendio. No, he didn't want to burn them...."Impedimenta!" he tried, though it only made the wolf coming at them look like it was in slow motion. Impervius? Imperio...no, defiantly not. "Immobulus!" he tried. It caught for a minute, stopping the wolf in its tracks like a statue.

She watched as one of the wolves began moving in a peculiar manner, legs twitching spasmodically. It was still attempting to move forward, but was having difficulty due to the 'dancing'. Well, that had worked. Taking a hand to wipe some blood off of her glasses, she looked to see if any water goblets were lying around.

Several of the wolves had been stunned with Doyle's spell, but it didn't last very long. They were back on their feet in a matter of moments. He cast an Immobulus spell on another wolf and then tried to answer the boy's question over the noise of snarling wolves and spell-casting. "Normal wolves wouldn't attack us, but there's something wrong about these. I think they've been transformed somehow by just the evil magical atmosphere of the Forest. This is why we forbid students from coming in here!" As one wolf tried to stalk its way around the group to attack from the back, Doyle spotted it and shouted Incarcerous! binding it tightly in ropes, including its muzzle so it couldn't chew its way out.

Fenris had stood in silence for too long. He was a fourth year, and everyone was probably wonderng why he wasn't trying to help. But he was horrible with spells. Animals, however, he could deal with. Especially wolves, his namesake. "I'm not called, 'Little Wolf' for nothing." He stepped forward, past the other students and past the two professors. He stood calmly as the wolves approached. "I've got this!" He told the two teachers. Throwing his head back, he mimicked a perfect howl, the howl of an angry Alpha wolf. The wolves stopped in their tracks, gazing at him. "That's right." He whispered to them. He growled deeply, a gutteral sound from the back of his throat. He now had their full attention.

Spells were bouncing around left and right, but it seemed a futile effort. There were just too many! Regardless, Rita pressed on. "Verdimillious!" She screamed, aiming at one of the wolves and firing the green lightning at it. The wolf fell, but it didn't appear to matter in the long run, as they were still being flanked on all sides.
.....
She could try that...
She shook her head quickly dismissing the thought away as an absolute last resort. If by some miracle she would be able to perform her spell, there was no way she'd be able to control it, especially with this many people around.
